Kieran Culkin has certainly grown since his breakout role at age 8 in the 1990 holiday classic Home Alone, and he's more than happy to chat about those formative experiences. According to his A Real Pain co-star Jesse Eisenberg, the 42-year-old actor is thrilled when people recognize him from the iconic film.
"What Kieran loves more than anything is for people to go up to him when they meet him and talk about Home Alone," said Eisenberg, 41, speaking at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York on January 7. When asked whether he's a Home Alone "super fan," Eisenberg jokingly replied, "Well, I mean, who isn't at my age?"
Eisenberg has previously mentioned watching Home Alone 17 times by the age of 7—while Culkin, during a recent panel, revealed that he revisited the family favorite countless times himself, memorizing the entire movie. Culkin's minor role as Fuller McCallister, cousin to Macaulay Culkin's Kevin, may have been small, but the film ultimately became a staple of his early career.
A Real Pain is currently in select theaters and available to rent or purchase on Prime Video, Apple TV, and other streaming platforms.
